Sr. Mariam Nisha is from South India. She was born in a village called Chellanam, in Kerala, which is surrounded by sea and river. She spent her first fifteen years of life with her family. At the age of sixteen she joined the convent. She received her Bachelor in Education in India and has worked in various schools in her home land. She has been working with children for the last twenty years. Teaching is her passion and cares for the children in a motherly way. Sister Nisha believes, “an educator is a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, and virtue”.
