Mrs. O’Connor has undergraduate degrees in elementary education and applied psychology from Boston College. She has her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College as well. This is Mrs. O’Connor’s fifth year teaching as a third grade teacher and her third year at the OLC school.
Mrs. O’Connor has experience with multiple math and literacy curriculums and is always looking to find the best teaching strategies to meet the needs of all her learners. Mrs. O’Connor fosters a sense of love and community with her students. She emphasizes the importance of respect, responsibility, hard work, kindness, and independence.
Mrs. O’Connor values her Catholic faith and loves teaching religion to her students. The third graders will learn about a different virtue each month and understand how to live this out in their everyday lives. While Mrs. O’Connor isn’t in school, she loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dog Riley. She also loves going to the beach, staying active, and watching the New York Yankees and Giants!
