An educator since 1992, John Carroll has taught at Saint Mary, Star of the Sea in Bayonne, and the Reading Center of the School of Education at Saint Peter's University. Mr. Carroll joined the OLC faculty in 2013, He is a graduate of Saint Peter's College and holds New Jersey certification as an elementary school teacher.
When Mr. Carroll is not in school, he enjoys relatively quiet pursuits such as walking in the woods, fly fishing, reading, and listening to classical music. He volunteers time with his parish Cub Scout pack. and serves as a director of the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, DC and a trustee of the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ.
Mr. Carroll is pleased to be teaching sixth, seventh and eight grade Science. Each class will work to develop a deeper knowledge of the subjects and to marvel at the wonder of the world in which we live.
