Ms. Ashley Coates

Hello everyone! This year marks Ms. Coates second year with OLC as the 7th & 8th grade Language  Arts & Social Studies teacher. This year we will have some fun and challenging tasks to help us reach our goals. Ms. Coates received her undergraduate degree in English Studies from Kean University.  Her  love and deep study of the subject makes her particularly adept at conveying the core structures and beauty of English and its grammar to her students.When she is not teaching, Ms. Coates enjoys reading, painting and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to collaborating with your son/ daughter to ensure a positive and successful school year. 

 

Anticipated Supply List 2021 - 2022 School Year

Dear Middle School Parents,
 
Below is a list of anticipated school supplies required for the 2021-2022 Academic School Year for students in grades 6-8. These supplies will be used throughout the year to support our content area studies. Please bring all supplies to the 2021-2022 Meet and Greet scheduled prior to the first day of school.
 
 
Middle school student supplies:

• 1 Personal Pencil case 
• 4 composition books 
• 2 graph paper composition book 
• 2 packs of post-its 
• 3 packs of pens: 1 blue, 1 black, 1 red 
• 1 pack of thick dry erase markers 
• 2 24 packs of pencils  
• 1 Clorox wipe container 
• 1 pack of construction paper 
• 1 Magic Rub eraser (it is a real rubber eraser)
• 1 pack of index cards
